Hazare Again
Dear Cyril Jeeva and friends,
I can’t recognize you Cyril Jeeva. Still thank you for your mail. I honor your right to continue propaganda against the civil society, bureaucrats, judiciary and peoples representatives in
I don’t believe that judicial activism is the answer for each and every problem in the country. And de-construction of political system by replacing those with judiciary is NOT an answer for all the problems.
What we could do if there are corrupt judges in the proposed Janpal? You may suggest that we will go for super Janpal! Concentration of power at one point is not at all advisable in a democratic society.
Now the political leaders like Anna Hazare (yes, what Anna Hazare doing is also politics and there is no sin in becoming a political leader) are trying to make laws without Parliament. People like me and others voted for some candidates in Parliament elections to elect the present MPs. We don’t want Anna Hazare or any other politicians to replace those parliament members by a back door entry. Let Anna Hazare and others follow the style of Jayaprakash Narayan.
Recently I met two activists in Kerala. When we had a chit chat, they told me they never used their franchising rights in their life. Still those people are fighting against the elected representatives. I think they are having some kind of ‘slave mania’ in their mind and they want some King to rule them and make laws.
Cyril Jeeva claims that there is so much corruption within CBI and vigilance departments. What’s the fun in merging those corrupt organizations into Janpal? Is to make the Janpal more corrupt?
You may please understand one thing- even six months imprisonment is enough for the corrupt bureaucrats and corrupt politicians. One ex Minister from Kerala was sentenced for one year’s imprisonment in a corruption case. Do you know what happened in that case? Just enquire, where is that man now? You may search all the jails in the entire world. You can’t see that man. He is enjoying life some other places. If you can’t fight against these things, there will not be any meaning in the mechanisms against corruption.
